VWO alternative: IntellQ vs VWO and AB Tasty

VWO and AB Tasty now present as one platform, Wingify, covering experimentation, personalisation, behaviour analytics, feature flags and commerce search, with an AI layer called Wingz that proposes hypotheses and sets up tests. IntellQ is the narrower alternative: agents that decide per visitor from intent and memory, change only page elements you marked, hold back a control group on every change, and come with live chat and an AI sales agent in the same tag.

What VWO and AB Tasty (Wingify) says it is

Wingify describes itself as an AI powered platform for digital experience optimisation and says AB Tasty and VWO have united. It lists website experimentation for non technical teams, real time adaptive personalisation, heatmaps, session recordings, funnels and surveys, feature flagging and server side experimentation, product and content recommendations and semantic search, and Wingz, an agentic layer that proposes hypotheses, sets up tests and reports the result.

Why teams look for an alternative

What IntellQ does about it

IntellQ is chat, an AI sales agent with product cards, live visitor tracking and conversion agents with memory in one script tag. The rows below are the ones that matter against VWO and AB Tasty (Wingify). See all 22 tools side by side.

What it isConversion agents with memory in the request path between your site and each visitor
Decides withA contextual UCB bandit over a fixed strategy registry, gated by guardrails and autonomy level 0 to 5
Can changeFour DOM operations on slots you marked: text, show, hide, same site link
Proves withA holdout control on every experiment, sticky SHA-256 bucketing, last exposure attribution
RemembersEvery visitor, lead and customer, sealed with AES 256 GCM under a per workspace key
UndoAutomatic rollback of losers, one click rollback of anything, kill switch on the next request
Price1,000 free agent credits with no end date, then USD 79 a month for 1,000,000 credits, unlimited seats

When VWO and AB Tasty (Wingify) is the better choice

If you run a full experimentation programme with feature flags, server side tests, session recordings and commerce search, Wingify describes all of that and IntellQ does none of the last three. IntellQ does not record sessions at all, by design.

Nothing on this page states VWO and AB Tasty (Wingify)'s price. Positioning and packaging change often, so read their site, read ours, and decide.

Questions

Are VWO and AB Tasty the same company now?

Wingify's site says AB Tasty and VWO have united, and presents one platform. Check their site for how the products are packaged today.

Does IntellQ have heatmaps?

It has attention per page block: seconds each block was at least half on screen while the tab was in front, plus clicks inside it, at most twelve blocks a page. It does not draw click maps or record sessions.

Can IntellQ run a classic A/B test I design?

IntellQ's agents write the variant from a fixed strategy list and you approve it. Every change runs against a 20 percent holdout by default. It is not a visual editor for designing your own variants.
